Expand allDay 1:Arrival in Casablanca ➝ Transfer to the Hotel
When you get to Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, your private driver will meet you and help you with your bags and getting to your hotel without any problems. You can relax for a while after your trip or go for a short walk along the Corniche, a beautiful beachfront promenade. If time permits, you should take a look at the impressive Hassan II Mosque. It is one of the biggest mosques in the world and is noted for its beautiful architecture and location on the ocean. Have a light dinner and get some rest in the evening to get ready for the exciting trip ahead.

Day 2:Casablanca ➝ Rabat ➝ Chefchaouen
Leave Casablanca after breakfast and head to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. You will see the Atlantic shoreline along the way. In Rabat, visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the lovely Kasbah of the Udayas, which has great views of the Bouregreg River. After lunch, drive north over the Rif Mountains to get to Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue City.”
Along the way, you’ll pass little Berber communities and gorgeous valleys. In the late afternoon, walk through the medina’s tiny, twisting lanes, take pictures of the famous blue walls, and have a leisurely supper in a traditional Moroccan restaurant with a view of the mountains.

Day 3: Chefchaouen ➝ Volubilis ➝ Meknes ➝ Fes
In the morning, walk to Plaza Uta el-Hammam, the Ras El Maa waterfall on the edge of town, and the local artisan shops to see more of Chefchaouen’s lovely medina. Then leave for Volubilis, an old Roman city with mosaics, basilicas, and triumphal arches that are still in good shape. After a guided tour, drive to Meknes, one of Morocco’s royal cities, to see the beautiful Bab Mansour gate, El Hedim Square, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. In the late afternoon, keep on to Fes. Check into your riad or hotel and spend a calm evening or a brief walk in the medina.

Day 4:Guided Exploration of Fes (3 to 4 Hours of exploration)
A professional local guide will show you around Fes. Start in Fes el-Bali, the city’s medieval heart, where you can see the famous Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, and Nejjarine Fountain. Then, walk through the colorful souks that sell spices, textiles, and traditional crafts. Visit the famous Chouara Tannery to see leather dyed in colorful pits. Get panoramic views from the city walls and learn about the city’s rich cultural and religious history. You can have lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant. In the afternoon, you can keep exploring, relax at your riad, or enjoy mint tea at a café.

Day 5: Fes ➝ Ifrane ➝ Azrou ➝ Midelt ➝ Merzouga Desert
Leave Fes early and drive into the Middle Atlas Mountains. First stop for today, is Ifrane, which is famed for its alpine-style buildings and pristine streets, is nicknamed as “Moroccan Switzerland.” To witness wild Barbary monkeys in their native habitat, drive to Azrou’s cedar grove. feeding them is advised but with caution.
On the way we will pass through Zaid, Mildet and reach Er-rich where we will make a pause for lunch, next, head south through the beautiful Ziz Valley, which has palm groves and oasis settlements. Once in Merzouga, ride your camels across the beautiful dunes of Erg Chebbi. Arrive in the desert camp at sunset, listen to traditional Berber music, and have dinner under the stars.

Day 6:Merzouga Desert Excursion
Get up early to watch the beautiful sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, get to visit some of the local desert attractions. Firstly visit, Gnawa town of Khamlia to hear their traditional music, later look for fossils, or meet a nomadic family in their tents to learn about how they live. In the afternoon, transfer to your accommodation in Merzouga to relax by the pool or have a quiet walk on the dunes. Enjoy a tasty dinner and a night in the desert, where you may relax.

Day 7:Merzouga ➝ Rissani ➝ Todgha Gorges ➝ Dades Valley
Leave Merzouga and drive to Rissani’s traditional market, which is known for its spices, crafts, and dates. Continue through beautiful valleys to Todgha Gorge, a beautiful canyon with cliffs that drop straight down 300 meters, making it a great place to walk and take pictures. After you visit the gorge, drive through the Dades Valley, which is noted for its unique rock formations dubbed “Monkey Fingers” and its many old Kasbahs. For meals and a place to sleep, check into a hotel or Riad in Boumalne Dades. Evening free time to take in the peaceful valley setting.

Day 8:Dades Valley ➝ Roses Valley ➝ Ouarzazate ➝ Ait Ben Haddou ➝ Marrakech
After breakfast, drive through the Valley of Roses and stop at local cooperatives to look at crafts and rose items. Later on, to Ouarzazate, Morocco’s “Hollywood,” where you may take pictures of the famed Atlas Studios and the local Kasbahs. Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah is an ancient walled town that is now a UNESCO World Heritage site.
It has been utilized in several movies. after a short visit to the Kasbah and a pause for lunch. We take the Tizi n’Tichka pass across the High Atlas Mountains, where you can see the mountains from all sides and little Berber communities along the way. When we arrive to Marrakech in the evening, check into your riad or hotel and relax for the night.

Day 9:Marrakech Guided City Tour (4 hours of Exploration) → Casablanca
Get together with a native guide for a half-day tour around Marrakech. Visit the beautiful Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Saadian Tombs. Then walk around the busy medina and souks. Jemaa el-Fna square is full of life with its street entertainers, food booths, and storytellers. You may enjoy great views from a rooftop café or shop for gifts. Once your guided city tour ends your driver will transfer you to Casablanca airport or Marrakech airport depending on your flight departure. End of your 9 Day Morocco itinerary.
