⇒ Day 1:Marrakech ➝ Ouarzazate ➝ Agdz (270 km, ~5 hrs)

After breakfast, depart from Marrakech and cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Along the way, enjoy panoramic views before arriving at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its ancient kasbahs and as a filming location for movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you can visit its renowned film studios and the historic Taourirt Kasbah. The journey then leads through the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest palm oasis. Day 2: Agdz - Zagora - Mhamid

After breakfast, continue your journey deeper into the Draa Valley, passing through villages filled with ancient mudbrick ksour and kasbahs. Stop in Zagora, famous for its iconic “Tombouctou 52 Days” sign, marking the historic gateway to the desert. Explore local pottery workshops and take in the scenic views of the Draa River. In the afternoon, drive to Mhamid, the last village before the vast Sahara begins. From here, enjoy a short camel ride to your desert camp. Savor mint tea, a traditional dinner, and live music around the campfire as the sun sets over the dunes. End the day sleeping under a sky full of stars. Day 3: Mhamid - Erg Chegaga

Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the desert. After breakfast, embark on an off-road 4×4 adventure into the vast Sahara. Cross rocky desert plateaus (hamadas), dry riverbeds, and tamarisk groves before reaching the impressive Erg Chegaga dunes the largest in Morocco, rising up to 300 meters. Enjoy camel trekking, sandboarding, or simply relaxing atop the golden sands. As the sun sets, watch the desert transform into shades of gold and red. On the way back to Marrakech, stop for lunch and explore Berber villages along the route, while enjoying the scenic beauty of the High Atlas Mountains.
