Expand allDay 1:Arrival in Tangier ➝ Drive to Chefchaouen
When you arrive at Tangier’s airport or port, your private driver will meet you. The drive to Chefchaouen is scenic and enjoyable. Nestled in the Rif Mountains, this blue-painted town is famous for its peaceful atmosphere and charming streets. Along the way, you’ll see mountains, lush fields, and picturesque villages. Upon arrival, check into your riad and take some time to relax. In the afternoon, explore the medina and visit Plaza Uta el-Hammam, capturing photos of the vibrant blue alleys. End the day with a traditional northern Moroccan dinner. Your first night in the mountains will be calm and tranquil.

Day 2: Chefchaouen ➝ Volubilis ➝ Meknes ➝ Fes
After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen and travel to Fes, stopping along the way to explore the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Before reaching Fes, visit Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, and admire its historic architecture, including the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, Bab Mansour, and the bustling El Hedim Square. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal in Meknes before continuing to Fes. Upon arrival, check into your riad in the historic medina. In the evening, either take a short walk through the nearby streets or relax at your riad to prepare for a full day of exploring Fes.

Day 3:Guided Exploration of Fes (3 to 4 Hours of exploration)
Start your day with a 4 hours guided tour of Fes el-Bali, the oldest walled medina in Morocco. After breakfast, meet your guide and explore the Nejjarine Museum, the Qarawiyyin Mosque and University, the historic tanneries, the narrow alleyways, and the bustling souks. For centuries, artisans have crafted items from leather, metal, and clay, keeping traditional techniques alive.
Learn about the city’s rich Islamic history and its Andalusian-inspired architecture. In the afternoon, visit the walls of the Royal Palace and the observation point at Borj Nord for panoramic views of Fes. Return to your riad to relax with a cup of mint tea, and in the evening, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4: Fes ➝ Ifrane ➝ Cedar forest ➝ Midelt ➝ Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, drive across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland,” to see the famous stone lion and admire the town’s unique architecture. Continue to Azrou to observe monkeys in the cedar forest. After lunch in Midelt, travel through the scenic Ziz Valley, lined with palm groves and traditional kasbahs.
In the late afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, located on the edge of the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a camel ride across the stunning dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach your luxurious desert camp. Spend the night in the desert and savor a traditional Berber meal under the stars.

Day 5:Merzouga Desert Region Exploration
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, set out with your driver for a day of adventure in the Sahara. Visit the village of Khamlia to listen to traditional Gnawa music, meet local families living in tents, and explore nearby fossil sites.
Wander at one of the desert’s oases to discover what type of plants are growing and from where water come from. In the evening, drive to a lovely Hotel in Merzouga to relax by the pool or take a peaceful stroll on the dunes. Enjoy a quiet dinner at the hotel and reflect on the stunning desert landscapes you experienced.

Day 6:Merzouga ➝ Rissani ➝ Todgha Gorges ➝ Dades Valley
On the sixth day of your Morocco itinerary 9 days head to Boumalne dades after breakfast. Today’s first stop is the bustling market of Rissani. The city is the original of the royal family and once was the capital of tafilatlet region, wander at the typical Market which goes live each (Thursday, Tuesday and Sunday). Afterward, travel to Todgha Gorge, where the canyon walls soar more than 300 meters.
Take time to stroll along the river and capture photos of the stunning scenery. Continue to Dades Valley, also known as the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through breathtaking landscapes and charming Berber villages. Pause at the remarkable Monkey Fingers rock formations for photos. Spend the night in a cozy guesthouse in Boumalne Dades, surrounded by mountains and valleys. Enjoy a hearty dinner and rest for the night.

Day 7:Dades Valley ➝ Roses Valley ➝ Ouarzazate ➝ Ait Ben Haddou ➝ Marrakech
After breakfast, travel through the beautiful Valley of Roses and visit local cooperatives that produce rose-based products. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and feel free to stop along the way for photos. Next, visit the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has appeared in numerous films.
After lunch, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, enjoying stunning landscapes and traditional Berber villages along the route. In the early evening, arrive in Marrakech and check into your riad. After dinner, take some time to explore the vibrant streets and lively atmosphere of the city at night.

Day 8:Marrakech Guided City Tour (4 hours of Exploration)
After breakfast, meet your guide for a full-day tour of Marrakech. Visit the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Koutoubia Mosque. Explore the bustling souks, filled with handcrafted goods, spices, and carpets. At Jemaa el-Fna plaza, watch street performers, listen to storytellers, and sample local snacks. In the afternoon, visit the Majorelle Garden or relax with mint tea at a rooftop café overlooking the medina. In the evening, enjoy the city at your own pace stroll through the streets or dine at a traditional Moroccan restaurant. Return to your riad in Marrakech for the night.

Day 9:Marrakech Airport Transfer
After breakfast, you may have time for one last stroll around Marrakech or to purchase some final souvenirs before departing. Your vehicle will take you to Marrakech Menara Airport (or another designated drop-off point) for your flight.
