1 Week Morocco itinerary, starts just after you meet your private driver who will be waiting for you at the port or airport. Begin your journey south toward the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen. Take in the stunning scenery along the way, including lush hills and charming Berber villages. Arrive in Chefchaouen in the afternoon and check into your riad. Enjoy the tranquil mountain air as you wander through the world-famous blue-painted streets, discovering hidden alleys and quaint corners. End the day with a traditional Moroccan dinner at a local restaurant, relaxing and soaking in the peaceful beauty of the town.

Day 2: Chefchaouen ➝ Volubilis ➝ Meknes ➝ Fes
After breakfast, continue exploring the medina of Chefchaouen, visiting artisan shops and Plaza Uta el-Hammam. In the morning, depart for Volubilis, a Roman ruin site famous for its magnificent mosaics and ancient structures. Next, travel to Meknes, where you can admire the impressive Bab Mansour gate and explore the historic medina. After lunch, continue by car to Fes, arriving in the late afternoon. Check into your riad and take a short evening stroll through the medina to soak in the city’s vibrant energy before enjoying dinner.

Day 3:Guided Exploration of Fes
On the final day, enjoy breakfast before driving north to Rabat, Morocco’s royal and administrative capital. Explore the city’s highlights, including Hassan Tower, the Kasbah of the Udayas, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Stop for lunch in Rabat, then continue your drive back to Tangier, passing through scenic farmland and coastal plains along the way. Arrive in Tangier in the late afternoon or evening, and be dropped off at your hotel, port, or airport to conclude your 3 Day Private Morocco Tour from Tangier.

Day 4: Fes ➝ Ifrane ➝ Cedar forest ➝ Midelt ➝ Merzouga Desert
Depart Fes in the morning and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop at Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland,” to admire its alpine-style architecture before continuing to Azrou, where you can marvel at the cedar trees and lively Barbary monkeys. Drive through the scenic Ziz Valley, lined with ancient kasbahs and lush palm groves. Arrive in Merzouga, on the edge of the Sahara, in the late afternoon. Take a camel ride across the stunning Erg Chebbi dunes to reach your desert tent before nightfall. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal while listening to Berber music before spending the night under the stars.

Day 5:Merzouga Desert Region Exploration
Your fifth day of the 1 Week Morocco itinerary. Wake up early to watch the sun rise over the magical Sahara dunes. After breakfast at the camp, embark on an exciting 4×4 desert safari. Visit Khamlia village, home to the Gnawa people, and experience their spiritual music, traditional lifestyle, and dances. Next, meet some local nomadic families living in traditional tents and learn about their desert customs and way of life.
Discover the M’Fis dinosaur fossil mines, where ancient marine fossils dating back millions of years have been found. Then, visit Dayet Srji, a seasonal lake that attracts migratory birds, and relax in the peaceful oasis. You can either take a nap or return to your hotel or camp in Merzouga. If you still have energy, enjoy an optional camel ride or try sandboarding on the dunes.

Day 6:Merzouga ➝ Rissani ➝ Todgha Gorges ➝ Dades Valley
Leave Merzouga and drive to Rissani’s traditional market, which is known for its spices, crafts, and dates. Continue through beautiful valleys to Todgha Gorge, a beautiful canyon with cliffs that drop straight down 300 meters, making it a great place to walk and take pictures. After you visit the gorge, drive through the Dades Valley, which is noted for its unique rock formations dubbed “Monkey Fingers” and its many old Kasbahs. For meals and a place to sleep, check into a hotel or Riad in Boumalne Dades. Evening free time to take in the peaceful valley setting.

Day 7:Dades Valley ➝ Roses Valley ➝ Ouarzazate ➝ Ait Ben Haddou ➝ Marrakech
On the last day of your 1 Week Morocco itinerary. After breakfast, depart from the Dades Valley and continue your journey through Skoura, a region renowned for its ancient kasbahs and lush palm groves. Continue on to Ouarzazate and visit the picturesque earthen village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Travel across the Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, taking in breathtaking views of the surrounding valleys and peaks.
